Dining Services

Bancroft’s Dining Services team works hard to understand and meet the nutritional needs of the Bancroft community, and we are responsive to any dietary restrictions a student may have. We strive to include whole-grain options such as pasta, breads, pizza crust, breadings, and taco shells, as well as low-fat dairy products where possible. The Food Service Director consults regularly with a Registered Dietician to make sure the menu is well balanced. In addition, we frequently talk to students, parents, and faculty, and seriously consider their suggestions and feedback. We also work with a produce vendor to ensure fresh, local, seasonal produce, and purchase high quality ingredients.

Every day in the Dining Hall, we offer a vast and well-balanced menu to suit a variety of palates. Daily offerings include:

  • Vegetarian and non-vegetarian entrée options
  • Soups made from scratch
  • Salad bar with a tasty variety of vegetables, fruits, grains, proteins, breads, and wraps
  • Assorted yogurts
  • Whole, fresh fruits
  • Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches
  • Assorted desserts
  • Milk, filtered water, or enhanced water
