The Director of Alumni & Donor Engagement will be an experienced, talented relationship manager looking for a position where passion and innovation are encouraged and supported.  

Responsibilities:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join a strong advancement team in an alumni and community relationship role. This position will have the opportunity to capture the energy and enthusiasm of 4000 alumni worldwide, as well as other community members, to support the overall advancement of the School through volunteers, events, communications and programs. Working closely with the Chief Advancement Officer, this position will engage and steward donors to the school, with particular emphasis on alumni relations. This is a forward-facing position that requires an apt persona for managing volunteers, running events, writing compelling text, and managing projects. The position offers a prime opportunity for those who are strategic thinkers to incorporate their entrepreneurial and creative skills. Poised confidence and the ability to deal diplomatically and effectively with all types people in all types of situations as well as the ability to work with and analyze data from a constituent database is critical to success in this position. This is a full-time, 52-week per year position.

The ideal candidate would have:

  • Ability to work occasional weekends and evenings.
  • Experience using technology in professional settings, including websites, social media and e-communication systems.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to communicate clearly and convincingly.
  • Prior experience with databases and data analytics.
  • Demonstrated experience managing events – both large and small scale.
  • Ability to plan and execute both long term and short-term projects and events.
  • Prior experience working in an Advancement Office.
