More than 400 artworks were submitted to the annual Small Independent School Art League (SISAL) competition this year, and Bancroft student-artists took 9 awards — in Painting, Digital Art, Digital Design, Jewelry, Printmaking, and Photography. A total of 17 independent schools participated. "This is an extremely competitive showing and we are very proud of our winners, as well as all of our students accepted for exhibition," said Visual Art Chair William Chambers.
The exhibition is hosted this year at the Brimmer and May School, Chase Building, Hastings Center, 60 Middlesex Road, Chestnut Hill, MA. The gallery will be open to the public from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. April 23–27, and the SISAL Awards ceremony takes place on Friday, April 27, at 6:00 p.m. Please feel free to attend and support these talented students!
