Grades 9 through 12
Bancroft’s Upper School fosters much more than academic achievement—it prepares students for the full range of intellectual, ethical, personal, and professional challenges they will face in college and beyond.
Our rigorous liberal arts curriculum—combined with countless opportunities for scholarly, athletic, artistic, social, workplace, and global engagement—gives students the broad education they need to succeed in the world’s top colleges and build meaningful careers and fulfilling lives.
Upper School students have an unparalleled opportunity to learn by doing. They have the chance to participate in foreign exchange programs and join friends and teachers on educational trips to countries such as Italy and Costa Rica. Their final semester includes the Senior Cooperative, an off-campus internship with a local business, government agency, or nonprofit.
Students graduate with exceptional writing and public speaking skills—a hallmark of a Bancroft education. They develop a strong sense of leadership, a clear understanding of their talents and passions, and the confidence to take charge of their own education. The colleges they choose are just as diverse as they are, and with the personal support of Bancroft advisors and mentors, they find their ideal academic match.
