International Student Program
In keeping with our mission to foster global citizenship, and to further enrich our already ethnically and racially diverse student body, Bancroft School now enrolls international students in the Upper School. International students may apply to Grade 9, and will become full members of the Upper School, with plans to enter college in the United States following their graduation.
This program is intentionally small, so that the international students become an integral part of our student body, participating in clubs, athletics, academics, and student leadership. They broaden their own perspectives and the perspectives of others by becoming active members of our school community.
Our international students stay with Worcester-area host families, many of whom are already Bancroft families. This home-stay program allows our international students to experience an authentic American secondary-school life, at home as well as school. It encourages them, too, to fully embrace American language and culture.
Bancroft School welcomes English-proficient applicants who are looking to broaden their horizons in an international educational environment.
