Dear Bancroft Community,
Despite the rain yesterday, school spirit was in full effect as the entire school donned our blue Homecoming shirts. We look forward to seeing many of you at today's Homecoming activities as we cheer on our Middle and Upper School teams in action against Lexington Christian Academy. Events begin at 11:00 AM.
In my letter last week, I shared some information about our upcoming community assessment being conducted by our partner, Keith Hinderlie from October 4-8. We have several opportunities for parents/guardians, employees, and Upper School students to have their voices heard as a part of this process.
First will be to complete a climate survey that you will receive directly from Survey Monkey on Monday, October 4. This survey data will be an important part of Keith's assessment. Parents, employees, Trustees, and upper school students will each be sent a survey to complete during the week of his visit.
In addition, please see the schedule below for parent/guardians' opportunities to join Keith on campus for in-person conversations.
Tuesday, October 5 8:00-9:00am – Parent Drop-in, Dining Hall
Wednesday, October 6 2:30-3:30pm – Parent Drop-in, McDonough Center - Boone Room 5:00-6:00pm – Parent BIPOC Group, Harrington Theater Lobby
Thursday, October 7 8:00-9:00am – PFA leadership grade reps, Dining Hall 5:00-6:30pm – Parent Drop-in, Harrington Theater Lobby
Please remember that masks are required when inside Bancroft buildings.
We appreciate your partnership in this important endeavor. Below, is a note from Keith outlining the importance of community participation.
Best, Trey Cassidy Head of School
Hello Bancroft Students and Families!
I am looking forward to meeting many of you in early October. Bancroft's commitment to creating an inclusive community can only be accomplished with your participation. I hope you will take the time to share your thoughts as I work to get a better understanding of your school environment. Thank you for your help as we work together to help create a more inclusive Bancroft community.
