Young Writers Conference

Veteran YWC mentor, poet, songwriter, author, workshop facilitator, and educator Regie Gibson has performed, taught, and lectured at schools, universities, theaters and various other venues on two continents and in seven countries including Havana Cuba. Laina Pruett's fiction has appeared in the Spring 2012 issue of The Gettysburg Review, the Winter 2014 issue of Prairie Schooner, and in the BU Alumni Journal, 236. She was in residence at Yaddo during summer 2014, is a recipient of the Glenna Luschei Prairie Schooner award, was a 2011 Robert Pinsky Global Fellow, and is a fiction editor at The Worcester Review. She holds an MFA in fiction from Boston University. 

Finalist at the National Poetry Slam in 2016. Their work has been featured or is forthcoming in The Offing, The Journal, and Drunk in a Midnight Choir.
