School Leadership

The Board of Trustees is composed of 20 capable, dedicated, and diverse members of our community who represent alumni, parents, past parents, past faculty, and friends of Bancroft School.

The Board of Trustees has three fundamental roles:

• To ensure that the mission, vision, and values of the school are being fully supported and delivered by setting and implementing strategic goals
• To protect the long-term financial viability of the school
• To hire and evaluate the Board’s singular employee, the Head of School. No individual Board member is invested with authority to act independently; all decisions regarding policy are voted on by the Board as a whole.
