Message from Alumni Council President,
Kerri Aleksiewicz Melley ’90
Dear fellow Bancroft Alumni:
It is such an honor and privilege for me to take on the role of President of our Alumni Council during this exciting time of transition for our School. As a current parent of Tim ’22 and Sarah ’26, I have the fortune of a new perspective and appreciation for the amazing learning, development and compassion that Bancroft students experience every day. In addition to the core curriculum which is as strong as ever, our students now benefit from so many opportunities that did not exist when I was a student in the '80s: Foreign Language in Lower School; Mandarin; Lego Robotics; Jazz Band; mindfulness workshops; an integrated iPad Initiative; and Senior Co-Op to name just a few.
I encourage all of you to join us at Alumni Events in your area or for a visit to campus on Shore Drive. Better yet, participate in the Alumni Council as a Class Secretary or Agent, or on one of our committees: Annual Fund; Awards; Connection & Engagement; Communications; and Events. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you as we connect with each other, current students and recent graduates as we all continue to live the legacy that is Bancroft.
