A Message from Alumni Council President,
Jim Condon ’83

Dear Fellow Alumni,
Having spent many years around the Bancroft campus, it is a great honor
to have been elected president of the Alumni Association. All of us who
have had the privilege of a Bancroft education can look back on great
teachers, true friendships and tremendous learning opportunities.
Bancroft is a unique institution and you areone of the more than 3,100 alumni who can call it your Alma Mater.
Along with this distinction comes a responsibility. History is a
strange thing, it never goes away, but can at times be forgotten. Join
with me and the rest of Bancroft’s graduates to carry on the tradition
of academic excellence at Bancroft. Your support— through charitable
giving, participation and attendance at events and school activities,
and networking with fellow alums really does make a difference.
This is your Alumni Association and I look forward to working with you,
hearing your thoughts, and continuing to interact with today’s
Bancroft. If you haven’t been back to Shore Drive in a while (or if you
have never visited the Shore Drive campus) you will be more than
pleasantly surprised. Please feel free to contact me or the Alumni
Office with any thoughts or questions. We look forward to hearing from
you.
All my best for a productive and enjoyable year.
