Just the Facts
Bancroft's Upper School includes grades 9 through 12.
• Bancroft Upper School students are accepted at many of the finest colleges and universities in the country.
• All Upper School students study English, math, history, science, a
foreign language, physical education and the arts (see Course Catalogue ). Students take five to six full-credit classes per year in a
seven-period day.
• Each of Bancroft's Upper School grades typically enrolls 60 students
in four or more sections of classes. The average Upper School class has
14-15 students, with some numbering 10 or fewer.
• All students who want to participate on an interscholastic athletic
team have an opportunity to do so.
• Students are on campus from 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. (2:45 on
Fridays) with time for clubs/activities, study, and conferences with
teachers built into the daily schedule.
