The Lower School vegetable garden is blooming with lettuce and peas surviving the month of rain. With the arrival of the sun, the other vegetables are bound to provide several healthful lunches for children on campus.

In early June, Bancroft's Lower and Middle Schools enjoyed closing ceremonies filled with
music and celebrations of student achievements, highlighted by the 5th grade's end of Lower School and the 8th grade's end of Middle School. The week closed with the Upper School's 108th Commencement ceremony, graduating 49 students from the Class of 2009.
