EASTERN INDEPENDENT LEAGUE

PLAYERS OF THE YEAR Since 1990

The E.I.L. recognizes our athletes each season with All-League selection. At the end of season meeting, the league coaches discuss and vote on the top players in their sport. Each season an athlete, by the voting process, is chosen as Player of the Year. This athlete is recognized as being a player who, for that season, displayed great skill, knowledge of the sport, sportsmanship and leadership on the field/court. Bancroft has had a number of our athletes achieve this high honor. These athletes have their names, pictures and a biography included in the Boston Globe’s All Scholastic edition at the end of each season.  Below is a list of the sports with the names and the years each athlete was honored.
